19.5" Axles
York offers a range of hubs in spider, 6 and 10 stud to suit American, European and Japanese wheels of 19.5", 17.5" and 16" sizes. The large 335mm x 210mm brake is available for both the 19.5" and 17.5" wheel axle. The 16" axle is mostly used to fit as a lazy axle to Japanese medium duty trucks. Suitable for various suspension configurations.

Disc Brake Axles
Braking response and brake application control is significantly better with disc brakes even under the toughest braking conditions. Tests confirm that disc brakes out perform 'S' cam drum brakes in extended downhill driving situations. The smaller brake chamber used consumes less air than standard drum brakes to perform a similar task.

With the inherent high efficiency of disc brakes the vehicle stops more easily in a straight line and less distance. The disc brake does not suffer from fade under constant brake pressure whereas the drum brake needs gradually increasing brake pressure to maintain the same brake performance.

The York 2800 Series Heavy Duty Axle is ideally suited to those off highway applications where gross weights exceed standard and when matched with the York 90mm Heavy Duty Suspension provides an outstanding combination. The bearings on all 2800 Series axles are 100mm inner bearing size and 90mm outer bearing size.
